We received a letter last week saying our older son Kirk had scored in the top two percent in mathematics and reading and the top five percent in language usage in the MAP (Measure of Academic Progress) testing in our school district. My first thought was all those games and stories really do help! I started this website as a place to share and explore ideas that help to make reading and learning more enjoyable, fun and effective, especially for boys. It made me enormously happy to see that some of those ideas must be sinking in. Good wishes!
